About the Authors:

Alan Murdie LL.B, Barrister is chairman of the Ghost Club (founded in Cambridge in the 19th century) and a member of the Society for Psychical Research. He has personally investigated numerous cases of alleged haunting in Britain and abroad, and has written and broadcast extensively on paranormal topics. The author of ten books, including four on haunted cities in the UK, he also writes monthly column devoted to ghosts for the magazine Fortean Times.

Although resident in Bury St. Edmunds since 1966, Robert Halliday was born in Cambridge, and has maintained a life-long interest in the city and the surrounding county, having worked for the Churches Conservation Trust in Cambridge. He holds an MA degree in history, has lectured on East Anglian local history and has written articles for popular and academic journals.
